Product Specification
As part of our commitment to quality and excellence, QPM is seeking feedback from interested parties. Our initial pilot campaigns have produced a series of >4N5 (99.995% purity) and 5N (99.999% purity) HPA test samples, which have been branded as “AlumQ” (>4N) and “AlumQx” (5N).
QPM production will meet the following specifications for both product grades:
QPM/Lava Blue engaged Eurofins EAG Laboratories who prepared samples for non-destructive analysis. These samples were measured by glow discharge mass spectrometry (GD-MS).
The analysis results confirmed the 5N alumina purity with the low impurity levels of Na and Ca, providing further confidence in the process being developed by QPM and Lava Blue.
All HPA produced from the demonstration Plant has been blended into 12 bulk samples and is available for testing.
